Under the umbrella of household problems ...

I recently bought a new washing machine, and the installer couldn't loosen the old hot-water hose from the faucet. "It's frozen," he said and connected the old hose to the new washing machine. I've been putting Liquid Wrench on the connection in hopes I'll be able to remove the old hose without applying too much pressure and breaking the faucet.

Question: Are there any remedies other than Liquid Wrench for solving this problem?

TIA
