It doesn't matter if Libby knew about Plame - lots of people in Washington knew because her hubby was calling reporters and telling them.

And Russert declared under path that he didn't know who Plame was and never discussed her with Libby.

Which means he was really out of the loop.

Also under oath, Plame was called covert and top-secret, which Fitzgerald also stressed in his statements. The CIA never would have even demanded the prosecutor if Plame were not only covert but extremely important on Iranian WMD.

Then Fitzgerald should have prosecuted Armitage for sure and probably Wilson.
