Bush lied today saying democrats aren't listening to commanders on the ground. It is Bush-cheney who for four years ignored all the generals. In fact the entire Joint CHief Of Staff came out against Bush-cheney's policies a month or two ago.

This debate goes back to the fraudlent rightwing fallacy that to end a hopeless quagmire war where our troops are being killed for a counter-productive policy is somehow "against the troops". In fact it's just the opposite. same with Kerry's anti war pratices in the early 70's. Kerry was pro-troops and always has been. Bushies abuse and use troops, exploiting them for political advantage then sending them into meatgrinders to defend corporate profits or Bush/Nixon's lies/pride.
