Good point. As inept as Jimmy Carter was at times, he always seemed to have the best interest of the people in mind and was working for a more peaceful and just world. Bush seems to have the best interest of the wealthy elites and oil cabal in mind, is starting wars that could wind up sparking WW3 with China and Russia in a worst case scenario and is greatly increasing injustice in this world with lawless behavior in Iraq and supporting repression regimes in the name of fighting terrorism (fighting for oil). Bush is already close to being the worst American President. Our prestige has sunk badly under his leadership. If WW3 starts because of his agressive militarism, then he will definitely be the worst American President. I never thought things could get this bad in this country. That the government would allow or even orchastrate terrorist attacks on its own people, ala 9/11, and then go off and start purely offensive wars for the first time in our nation's history and risk all starting WW3 with the arab world and Russians/Chinenes, all in the name of an oil empire. The best thing you can do is support an alternative energy economy. That will sap the oil cabal and our government of its power.
