If you look at it from the Georgetown perspective -- maybe Vandy got lucky that Georgetown played a horrid first half and only a decent second half, and that the refs made some really ticky-tack calls in the last few possessions to keep Vandy in the game. Vandy had 1 field goal and 7 free throws in the last 5 minutes of the game.

As far as the traveling call - completely debatable. First, he did not travel by switching his pivot foot. The rule book is clear on that. So the only way he could have traveled is by potentially lifting the pivot foot off the floor. Packer, Nantz, the refs and the Vandy coaches and staff did not even consider it when it was happening. It was only when the studio clowns got the slow-motion blown-up replay that it even became an issue -- and Green was bumped in that leg by a Vandy player.

Amazing display of class by the Vandy coach and players. I am sorry they had to play Georgetown, because I think they probably could have taken out almost any other team (they already showed they can beat Florida).
