let's go back to why we went into iraq And why did we go into Iraq? The administration has given several reasons - which version are you buying today? Isn't this the crux of what is going on right now John - Congressional hearings to determine why and how we got into this mess? I say, open government the more open the better. And yes democrats were sucked in, that is my point regarding "mindset". how iraq turned out is another subject. No it is another chapter of the same story. Wars go wrong by their very nature. To think that they would throw "flowers at our feet" as Cheney suggested is to demonstrate just what a bizarre fairy land these guys were/are living in.
