Too confident in the rightness of the West and common decency. There was a ton of them made like that. I am going to see "Shooter" and then "300" tomorrow. So much testosterone that when I walk out my balls will be clanging. "Shooter" is based on the "Bobby Lee Swagger" character from Hunter's "Point of Impact" and stars Mark Wahlberg, who is getting to be a favorite of mine. I already know the pluses and minuses. I love the character and the book. It's a Libertarian "Mission Impossible" story. The negatives are that they made the villains a "bad" FBI and CIA and to make the point cast that "great patriot," Danny Glover as the main bad guy. Just once, couldn't the bad guys be a corrupt Labor Leader tied in with a West LA Limousine Liberal who is paying off an LA congressman named "Maxman?" :>)
