I now have two Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. One a female, of American breeding and the other a male of Irish breeding. The male is about 45#'s the female 25#. The female is so sweet she wouldn't frighten anyone, but the male is so FEROCIOUS that everyone that comes near is terrified of him, though he would never bite a human unless threatened. Its gotten so bad that the UPS man now THROWS my packages over the fence rather then deliver to the front door. When he ROARS he sounds like a LION. I consider him an outstanding watchdog but it has caused problems for us. jdn
