The lunatic fringe is very small. Your hate speech article intends to make them appear larger and more important than they are. There is no need to make a statement of disassociation to every tiny whacko group or person. That is ridiculous. That would be buying in to YOUR mindset. The mindset that says there is something wrong with opposing the war.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to find out that the most offensive pictures were righties posing as protestors to discredit them. They've done it before.

And I would say that liberals online might not be as upset as you are because they don't buy in to incorrect idea that these most radical people have any real influence. At all.
