<protecting the weak is not the way to make a country stronger.> I am a total believer in free trade and international competition, but I think we need to draw the line at spending taxpayer money for the benefit of foreign corporations. The Japanese government is reputed to spend money on behalf of their industries. I bet they don't let foreign corporations in on those benefits.
