Females don't have genocidal war, which is why their common "out of Africa" ancestor was so much longer ago than for males. People think of a couple arriving out of Africa, but it doesn't work like that.

I had a read about Eugene Chen in cyberspace, where there is a surprising amount of information about all sorts of things. I see why TJ is how he is now. Apples don't fall all that far from trees.
Mqurice's grandfather was in China, suppressing Boxer rebellion, running oil industry, going to France to suppress the Hun taking a swarm of Chinese workers to help [not in the actual fighting I believe]. Generally being a foreigner, trading and bringing foreign ways.
TJ's grandfather was inciting the local yokels to refuse to speak English and to sort out the the foreign devils in general. Highly ironic that Eugene was fairly foreign too and was playing the local yokels for fools.
Here we are two generations later, 100 years later. Mqurice wheeling and dealing mobile CDMA cyberspace in China, wanting them to open up trade. TJ is wheeling and dealing, mates at high levels, fixing and opposing foreign devil influence while lining own pockets.
China is booting the foreign devil CDMA2000 [USA version] and W-CDMA [European version] and, ahem, "inventing", [giggle], their very own technology called TD-SCDMA for which, [what a surprise], they will determine they don't have to pay any royalties. That's how the place works - grab, nab, manipulate, lie and steal. The values one finds at street level are not Judeo/Christian/Libertarian - it's more dog eat dog and human eat dog. The values one finds at high level are not Freedom Fries values.
Of course one can find those values all over the world, but there is more of some things in some places than others.
History is underway, full steam ahead.
