jllen is one of the biggest rightwing extremists on SI. Are you insane to be posting to him bashing extremists? What exactly should be deemed "extremist"? I say it's anyone who puts their political ideology above the law, above the Constitution, above proven facts and reason, above the good of the American people and/or our environment, and anyone who supports obviously terrible decisions like the boondoggle in Iraq. I would also say conspiracy theoriests who think one group or another is plotting to take over the planet, or that Bush personally planned 9-11 are extremists. As are those who agree with either fascists (Ann Coulter) or Soviet communists (don't know anyone who does). Therefore, almost all the extremism these days is not only on the rightrwing side, it is in power in the form of people like Dick Cheney, Karl Rove and formerly Tom DElay. Bush himself is not so much of an extremist. I believe he will do anything Rove and Cheney tell him too. But he is a stubborn bastard who is not and never was equipped to be president. Good cheerleader though, with a lot of powerful backers.
