Healthcare has gone up 50% under Bush despite very little inflation. Bush's Medicare plan allows pharmacutical companies to charge anything they want without competition. It's a huge-huge ripoff scheme designed to pay back Big Pharma for giving the GOP tens of millions of dollars. There is no excuse for it. The VA gets to negotiate for lower drug prices and they pay on average 60% less than Medicare.

Like Big Energy gouging (that's up 100% under Bush-Cheney) this is part of the big ripoff scheme, to transfer trillions from the public wealth into the pockets of corporate cronies (including Saudis, Gaddafi, Iran, etc.) and the top 1% richest Americans.
