revbill: Email to Cowpland "I understand that Corel is currenty purchasing back shares. How many have been purchased this current quarter and how many do you plan to buy? Do you feel that this might be keeping the price from falling even further?

You announced that there would be major announcements in the coming
weeks. Are these positive announcements that will raise confidence in
Corel and support a higher stock price, or are these announcements in
your opinion just enough to stabalize things?

Knowing what you know, would you buy Corel today as an investment or
wait and see how things develope? Many people are selling out. Many of these people are long time supporters of Corel."

E-mail from Cowpland

"Hi 'Mr. Bean', We have an ongoing program to buy back shares below $8,00 and will invest $Millions. Announcements are imminent. The upside is huge - we are on the leading edge of Java, XML, Client server & Network Computing and these will all get very hot in 98.
Our stock is at 1 x sales. Once we get excitment back we could go rapidly to 5x or 10x sales and sales will also grow rapidly. Everything is positive except the re-alignment we have completed in order to focus on these huge opportunities. Now we will be able to focus on the positive future.

MikeC"
