The maps,,,,ah, the maps. And what are the historical precepts for the maps. Could it be that those maps are indicative of wars perpetrated by the Arab onslaughts on the fledgling state that kicked ass in the midst of overwhelming odds. And that these territories have been used as successful bulwarks in the event of further incursion, albeit at the cost of both Pal and israeli lives?
In the late 1800's a bunch of whites (mostly British) had some discourse with some Bantu in what is now Zimbabwe about the whites wanting to move into the neighborhood. The blacks made some treaties and had some second thoughts as well leading to some black rebellions, and the whites kicked their asses and set up a state. Less than 100 years later, the descendents of the blacks, despite living in one of the best economies of Africa, started rebelling again and generally being terrorists, largely because they were most definitely considered 2'nd class citizens by the descendents of the whites, and with demographics highly in the blacks favor, they eventually got control of their country, and started kicking the whites off their lands, a process which is still on-going actually, but mostly complete.
Now, how does this sound familiar?
PS: I was white and near the tail end of the above. |
