That is typical for girls---

When my daughter was just 2 and a half--t'was necessary to take her to stay with my brothers family due to a family medical crisis---- for a month.

When I returned to pick her up a month later, she sat on my lap for almost 2 solid hours.

She looked at my brother, who is a big tease, and said------Uncle XYZ "we will now give control of me to my mother". There ensued the laughter------like Art Linkletter out of the mouths of babes.

Orphanages--------glad you had that experience. There was an orphanage on a beautiful farm near to our home. They had a full elementary school staff------then for high school the teens attended our local public high school with us.

This resulted in a lot of new friends----occassionally, I was able to visit over night with a friend and then vice versa to our home. Made life long friendships.

When I began researching Obama, I knew right away that he had an "abandonment" issue given the family history----and now his friend confirms.
