"Unbelieveable that the rightwing still thinks critricisms of Bush-Cheney and the Delay congress are "lies".

I don't speak for the right wing nor does Tonto as far as I can see. Everybody critiques the performance of Bush and Cheney and that is appropriate.

I don't view criticism as equivalent to lying. I view lying in a separate light all together, although there can be an overlap when a person lies to bash other people. If I suspect lying but can't substantiate the basis for my suspicions, I leave it as a cautious regard. When intent to deceive is substantiated, I have no problem labeling intent to deceive as lies.

Anyone who thinks lying strengthens their argument is fooling only themselves. When such a person is exposed they have two choices. If they admit their error in judgement, they may be able to reclaim some credibility. However, if they simply pile on more nonsense in an attempt to avoid getting pinned down, they appear utterly ridiculous and do more harm than good to whatever cause or agenda they started out trying to champion.
