Nothing like stating the obvious. HRS has been a terrific investment for the past 5 years. We don't know if HSTX will work out as planned or maybe it will take a few years for the merger to bear fruit.

With the same breath I would add that both Harris and Stratex saw serious potential in the new company or they wouldn't have made the deal. Situations like this often take a few years to gel, so the short term issues could very well weigh down HSTX stock.

STXN was doing a good job of pulling itself out of the cellar, so I wouldn't be too quick to write off the new combination.

Time will tell....
