it is so hard to know what to do , it is really a personal thing. i had a coworker with prostate cancer , treated it mildly with drugs then it spread to liver. then went into surgery. he is still here eight years later. another coworker cancer of throat usually do not last long after that one. now going on ten years. dr and nurse didn't think he would last the year out. I knew someone who worked in the doctor's office. four years ago. he had a kidney taken out (cancer), also has bladder problems. check up last week cancer free. a widow , wife died of cancer 15 years ago. He travels , walks daily through valley forge, loves taking pictures , jazz, lives a full life. just keeps on truckin. i call him about every three months and go out for a quick lunch. it also makes my wifes caregivers happy to get me out. g
