So they could lock in the same rate if their planned infringement strategy went badly for them, but this does not mean there will not be consequences for the infringement. We've seen legal gaffs here by QCOM in the recent months, but none would even approach the stupidity of giving Nokia a year and a half free ride to reek all kinds of infringement havoc on the company and shareholders without fear of consequences because QCOM granted them a get out of jail free card.
