The Bush GOP has to be held accountable, pal. The congress's mandatory duty is to check and balance the executive branch and keep them from abusing power. That's how the Founding Fathers set it up. The GOP rightwing congress abused its subpoena powers in the late 90's by going after a trivial "scandal" of Clintons then digging into his sex life. That was not what the Founding Fathers intended. What they intended was for congress to crack down on gross corruption and incompetence, high crimes, clear abuses of power and lying to the American people. All these crimes the Bush-cheney White House is egregiously guilty of. The American People elected this new congress to do its job. That's exactly what they are doing and you should support it 100%.
