I have had heartburn since the birth of my children. I completely eliminated it by ending every meal with a salad. I also rarely eat after 6pm, but even if I do eat a bit later, as long as I have a nice big green salad I have zero heartburn. Just thought I'd throw that in. I lived on tums for many years, and lately I haven't had to take any.
