I agree with you. My husband's blood sugar is constantly in the normal range, unless we hit a "problem" food- and if we do I make a note of it, and don't serve it again.

I also think it's incredibly important to track what certain foods do to you. My husband can't eat the more processed grains- like processed cereals or white rice- but give the man something like spelt, or farro, or quinoa, and his blood sugar is great.
