Jesus had four main messages all of which the rightwing craps on.

LOVE THY NEIGHBOR
TURN THE OTHER CHEEK
FEED THE POOR, SICK, NEEDY
BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS

I might also add

BE A GOOD SHEPHERD (care for the natureal environment)
DO NOT TAKE THE LORD'S NAME IN VAIN (religious right is very guilty)

If Jesus were around today the rightwing would stone him to death and call him a commie, hippy, liberal traitor.
