Technically, the president represents all the citizens. Even my congressman, Barney Frank, technically represents me.

But what I find interesting is the notion from the left that "a majority of Americans" are against the president's policies, despite the fact that his policies haven't changed since the election --- which he won by receiving a record number of votes.
