There has been no fiscal restraint during the Bush years.

Weather you a liberal or a conservative there has to be some kind of relationship between income and spending. The trillion dollar deficits that we now have, must be brought under near term control.

Wars are expensive. Have you considered that the cost of the Iraq war would be more that enough to eliminate the medicare gap in prescription drug care coverage?

The long term cost of medical care of returning seriously injured Iraq veterans will add billions to the VA budget for years.

Its not a question of tax and spend...its a question of paying for whats on the plate now. Fiscal responsibility is what has been lacking for the past six years.
