Don't think that too many know this, despite a few old posts on the subject.... IMO, the Dendreon effort has been a primo one. Have never bothered to even look at the data, so no feel/call for today. But it's a sound effort, IMO, to break tolerance to a self antigen that is expressed on prostate. In fact, until Jim Allison and MEDX put anti-CTLA4 to the test, it's been one of the best-conceived of efforts (again IMO of course). Walt Urba is a good friend and a good scientist. He'll be looking for what any cancer immunologist should look for.... a few instances of breakthrough survival. Wishing DNDN luck, here.
