From what I saw of it regarding East Jerusalem, holy sites, and WB settlements, I would have turned it down as well.

About six months into 2001, the Pals realized how much damage they had done to themselves and began badmouthing the deal, spewing all kinds of nonsense about Bantustans and the like. Dennis Ross and Clinton tried to set the record straight, but people are always ready to believe the Pals, even though the Pals have a clear track record of saying absolutely anything they think will benefit the Cause at the moment.
