Will there be a war rally?

This Iran-U.S/Britain kidnap confrontation looks like a repeat of last year's conflict between their proxies Hezbollah and Israel. The Iranians must think they came out on top during the test run, and think they have plenty of traps for the U.S./Britain on this one. I think they are making a critical error in judgement.

A conflict would surely send the deficit, and rates, screaming upward. IMO, shorting crude or bullion right here is not wise, although the stocks may not necessarily go up.
