There was nothing to hate about CLinton. He was a great communicator, bipartisan (remember how many Repubs he hired?), wise, hardworking, charming, self-made, polite, articulate, smart as a whip, highly successful with our economy and world affairs, etc. Most of the stuff the rightwing smear jockeys told their people to hate about Clinton was made up tall tales which never happened.
There is plenty to hate about Bush-Cheney that is proven fact. And include Cheney because Cheney seems to have as much power as Bush does. Together they are a national disgrace and have failed at almost everything they have done. Plus they are bitterly partisan and divisive, selfish, greedy, corrupt, devious, elitist and dishonest.
I suppose some people could hate Clinton for having sex outside wedlock, but they are the same people who think Gingrich is great, and the Grinch was cheating his his wife while she was sick in the hospital with cancer.
Bottomline, there is no comparison. The rightwing hate machine is much-much worse. There is no one like Coulter or Hannity on the left. You don't see Alan Colmes spewing hatred against the GOP. You listen to Air America and even the most leftist radio hosts aren't half as hateful as Hannity, Coulter and Limbaugh. Plus they invite on conservatives to debate them and don't cut them off or call them names.
And the liberals have much more reason to be hateful. So quit trying to BS the thread. Hateful extreme partisanship is mainly a rightwing quality. Just look at the smearvets. Nasty. |
