That sounds like a metaphor for what's happening in the US today....The Vocal and hardcore Left are shouting with loud and raucous voices, and forgetting just how great this Country really is.....(Think no-not-muchs like Sheehan, Penn, Durbin, Boxer, Kerry, Gore, and all the rest of those....)

It was extremely frustrating for me, being absolutely committed to my professional ideals, that an enterprise that took 100 to 200 years to play out had objectives set by people who couldn't see past the end of their nose. That is, the people with the loudest, most raucous voices
