If it works for you, stick with it. I do trade some low priced stocks myself.

However, most of the strategies I apply, based on studies I have seen, work even better for NASDAQ stocks priced above $20 and NYSE stocks priced above $40.

A lot of the volume we see on low priced stocks isn't professional money. Quite a few retail traders can buy low priced stocks in volume, so the volume patterns are camouflaged from professional money. It's professional money I prefer to track.
