Yours was a true seizure.

I had what I could only describe to the doctor as being a seizure but in fact it was the only term I knew of to use. I had grown up with migraines and tho they had decreased over the years, I'd get one maybe every year or so.

This episode was a shooting "seizure" of a second at most, up the back of my neck. Happened several times in a weeks period. The doctor said they were different kinds of migraines -- different because of my age (73) and he put me on Toponal. No recurrences for over a year and a half then a mild recurrence at which time he increased dosage. No recurrence since that time (several years). And no regular migraines.
