Company Press Release

Norian Launches Web Site

CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--Sept. 30, 1997--Norian Corporation, a medical device company based in Cupertino, California, has launched
a site on the World Wide Web at norian.com . The internet site includes up-to-date information about the company and its proprietary
product, Norian SRS. Features of the site include recent press announcements, product descriptions, updates on regulatory status and contact numbers
for Norian's offices and distributors.

Norian's internet site also serves as a gateway to the Norian Education Network, a site designed specifically for surgeons, distributors, education course
faculty and others involved with Norian SRS. Private access accounts are assigned to individuals after they have completed a Norian education course.

Upon entering the Norian Education Network, users select the country in which they practice. The site provides country-specific information about the use
of Norian SRS, including information on surgical techniques, clinical and economic outcome data, and reimbursement and rehabilitation guidance.

Norian Corporation manufactures, markets and distributes Norian SRS, an injectable cancellous bone cement for use in cementing fractures. When fully
cured, the cement mimics the structure of natural bone and may dramatically improve the outcomes of fracture treatment.

Norian SRS has received CE mark approval in the European Union, where it is currently being commercialized through a network of distributors. The
product also has regulatory approval in Canada for wrist fractures, and in Australia for broad applications. In the United States, Norian SRS is under
clinical investigation for wrist and hip fractures.
