Andy, I just talk to Susan Atkins. She thinks that the countdown does begin Oct 6 and she did confirm that the diabetes announcement was on track for the "begining of 4Q" as promised. She also seemed to think that the stock price wasn't going to go up appreciably before such an announcement (and she thought that many kind of missed the pivotal Phase II/III announcement on oral Targretin). Thus, I don't think that LGND's news is even close to being reflected in today's price, so I'll go for another bottle of wine saying $20 this month.
