This article tells me that not only are Americans not leaving Baghdad or Iraq anytime soon, but that the right-wing has no plans of relinquishing power here in the United States any time soon either. To me,the fate of the two are tied together. The message of the Green Zone in Iraq is that we're not leaving anytime soon. But in order for the right-wingers to believe we're not leaving anytime soon, means they don't believe they'll be relinquishing power here in the US anytime soon either....or if they do, it's only temporary. Why else would Rove be dancing and the broadcast media joining in with applause and laughter? The fix is in - we the common citizens just don't know it yet. - A.
