Totally disagree.

The US would not be in this fix if Gore had been allowed to assume the office he won in 2000.

There would have been no 9/11, since the Israeli conflict would have been contained instead of exacerbated.

And the fiscal regime would not have been destroyed to reduce taxes on the wealthy.

Gore would have maintained the pay-go policies of Clinton and the economy would not have been debased by the deficit spending and endless war in Iraq.
