The reason mine was taken out I was told it was defective and an non functioning organ. I drink lots of water and I take proabotics,digestive enzymes and still have the same problems that I had before all the exploratory tests I went through to determine that the gall bladder was non functioning... My hope was that removing it would negate my terrible digestive problems. It hasn't... (:(
