Elmat, If US is declining for the last 40 years, then how come it is propping up its rivals in a conscious manner? Japan, Germany, and South Korea were developed primarily by their trade relationship with and military protection by US. Nixon consciously made an effort to develop diplomatic relationship with China. China's trade with US is an important factor in its growth. Outsourcing to India was lead in the 1980s by Citigroup and Unisys. GE took advantage of outsourcing to Indian IT companies throughout the 1990s. Who released mobile phone, GPS, and internet technologies for commercial use? -Arun
