thestar.com When you add up the people who die from in hospital mistakes, prescription reactions, and other physician mistakes, I'm not sure you can say conventional is the best shot we have. I think a combinatorial approach is the best shot we have. Ayurvedic medicine, herbal Western medicine and Chinese medicine are all very long traditions- longer traditions than what we call "conventional" medicine now. I would suggest to you that for acute problems conventional medicine is most often better, for for chronic conditions I think alternatives are often far superior.
