I know precisely what kept us alive. It was a protocol designed by Dr. James Frackelton. It consisted of heart, liver, circulatory, nerve sheath and digestive rehabilitation. Not unlike a story of "Lorenzo's Oil" although there were multiple organ failures to be dealt with. At one time I was using 4 prescription drugs. I told my conventional MD that I was going to stop them and use vitamin/mineral combos along with a variety of other natural methods. He laughed and said all I would get is expensive urine. That was 10 years ago and I haven't seen a doctor since. Nor has my wife or daughter. WOrking with "holistic" methods are harder. They take investigation and much study. It is not like going into the traditional doctors office and saying "what pill do I eat today." Most people fail with "holistic" because they can't pay the price of involvement in their own illnesses. Shootie
