i judge folks by their values, and now, given that the boys have no particular values of note, i judge them by their parents ... the usual, family values, politeness, straight forwardness, learning as opposed to education, education as opposed to training, thrift, etc

one boy is a bit wild - like a race car driver

the other a bit too relaxed - like a ... say a chef who is naturally good at cooking

i would prefer, all else being equal, a boy who can switch between the two modes ;0)
