This is totally off topic, but I have decided to buy ONLY foods grown and processed in the United States - even after the spinanch poisoning of last fall.

I only buy Bell & Evans or Empire Koscher chickens. I try to buy only produce that is grown and packaged in the US and/or Canada.

... Not sure I can 'live without' Roquefort (france), Blue Cheese (Denmark) and King Christian (Denmark) cheeses.

Are you aware that some poultry products that are raised in the US are sent to China for processing and returned to the US mostly as frozen chicken items. I would not be surprised if the chicken nuggets so popular at fast food restaurants are not processed out of this country.

I have a fairly large garden and intend to grow, freeze and can my own produce. I have strawberry, raspberry and blueberry beds. I have not had much luck with fruit trees because we have too many black walnut trees.

We are not buying Russian or Venzuelan brand gasoline - Getty, Lukoil, or Citgo.
