50 cash 20 short OMX, Officemax 10 long GLGC, Gene Logic 10 long ANDS, Anadys 10 long INFI, Infinity I walked into Officemax or Office Depot the other day, and the stuff I was going to buy was twice as much as ordering it online from Newegg.com, so that is my 30 second short idea. I have seen Best Buy and Circuit City both offered up as short ideas of late, taking two seconds to check out the PE of Office-whatever, suggests maybe it is not a bad idea here too. The three small biotechs are all pet stocks that I follow. It would not surprise me to find them all selling off a notch from where there are now six months hence. I have reservations about owning all three of those stocks right now, but for whatever reason I am still fond of them. Cashboy is so bearish he is reading this stuff again: articles.moneycentral.msn.com I don't expect to be posting any trades or monitoring SI much these next six months, but good luck all and I'll be sure to check out the list of winners at the end. I do not expect to beat the S&P again myself and never in my 15 years of following the stock market have I ever felt less confident of my stock picking ability. Wisdom?
