Hi Christine! I've been down-in-the-dumps but I'm better now. I was suppose to go for jury duty. I lost my summons. I didn't know what to do. I phoned & they told me I wouldn't have to go cuz I was going to ask my doctor to write a letter. What have I been doing? Tuesday evening I returned from a trip to Canada's Yukon Territory. It was only a three-day trip. I enjoyed it very much even though I traveled alone & didn't know anyone in the Yukon. Housemate & I have been taking Cajun dance lessons once a week. Housemate hates to dance. Housemate took lessons cuz I wanted to learn. Hope I can persuade housemate to take more lessons! It's rained for two days. When it quits, I've got to do some weeding & I've got to plant bulbs. I also need to have my house painted. I thought we would have a late fall which would be ideal for a paint job. Now I'm not so sure. Anyway, at least I'll phone a painter. I've been saying that all summer. I don't know why I put it off exactly. Part of the reason was that it was too hot to pain most of the summer & we couldn't decide on the color of the paint. I also have to file 6 months worth of brokerage statements & stuff. They are always sending you stuff!!! Anyway, it will take a long time to do it. That's about it. If it rains this weekend, I'll look for a film. In the meantime,. I've gotta do household chores!
