Nadine, you are diverting. The Arab Peace Plan has only one chip to play in this bargain "recognition of Israel and normalization of relations" - the Israelis have a lot more chips.... occupied lands, E. Jerusalem, the PAL right of return. Why should the Arabs give up the only chip they have, when the Israelis don't want to even talk about giving up anything????
Look at what the Israelis did to the Vatican when it recognized Israel!!! That was 5 years ago, and they still don't want to negotiate anything. WHAT A TRACK RECORD!!!! At that time Israel said the same thing you're saying now, recognize Israel and we will negotiate your rights LATER. If the Israelis are reneging on their agreement with the Vatican, think what they will do with the Arabs. ROFLMAO

No Nadine, what you are saying is that Israel will accept from the Arabs recognition of the Israeli state, then dance them around like they did the Vatican, keeping all their land, E. Jerusalem and no right of return (of course the Israelis will extend the negotiating period throughout this century (next 93 years), at the same time Israel will maintain the status-quo and not give up anything.)

In essence, what you're saying Nadine, Israel would prefer no recognition in return for keeping all the Palestinian lands, E. Jerusalem and stopping the right of return. Yes, indeedy, that's a-okay with Jerusalem and that's why they don't want a peace agreement. And that's why THAT obstacle shall remain -- as I've said Nadine, by doing that, Israel keeps everything.
(But, that's a secret they've tried to keep under wraps, however, it's getting more exposure these days).
