So what's the news?

It is cursory evidence that the microclimate around cities is effected by human activity.

i.e. The temperature record confirms there is an increase in temperature, and a trend from 1878 till today in LA.

Over the last few years there has been a decrease in temperature leading to some speculation from L&S that there might have been a reversal in trend.

I said that it's a matter of waiting and seeing.

I then moved onto global climate subject matters.
