Your reply...."All these atrocities are committed in the name of Islam. I also believe that these persons are first terrorists and murderers, and them claim some religious justification for thier actions. With the Bible and the Koran... people can pick and choose which verses apply to them and which they choose to ignore. I would call it selective dogma."..... I agree... so can we agree that islam plays an important part for the existence of radical elements within their religion...I mean given that their so called holy book is written in such a way as to encourage those radicals in their murderous ways....Other religions have written in their so called holy books words that can and have caused some of their members to commit atrocities in the name of their religion. IMO today however it is the islam religion that is a threat to world peace and come to think of it this islam religion has been a religion of violence since it's inception. most other religions have given up and no longer use the violent verses within their writings to commit murder but islam has not advanced with modern societies and still lives by ancient and violent laws that just do not fit in any civilized society today. You have seen as well as I the reaction of moderate muslims to some stupid cartoons.... so called moderate muslims reacted with murder and threats of murder to anyone who pocked fun at their religion....what other world class religions act in this manner...and get away with it.? ....."Islam is not a monolithic unified religion. As an organized (or disorganized) religion (Islam), there is no central person like the Pope to clarify dogmatic interpretations. That is the weakness of Islam, too many self professed Mullahs, announcing the "correct?" interpretation of the Koran."..... Agreed...and IMO this is one of the main reasons why islam is such a menace to world peace...there is NO control. Muslims not only murder the infidels but murder their own fellow muslims for the same stupid religious reasons which they believe to be the correct thing to do. ....."Here in the US, we have many self proclaimed ministers of "God", preaching whatever, but they are non-violent and harmless. Thier dogma resides in thier head and is as shallow as the roots of their hair. In some parts they are called "bible thumpers"."..... Agreed and as long as they abide by the laws of our civilized societies they are allowed to exist. islam should be shown NO favours for fear of their terrorists activities as is now being done...IMO this is a terrible and big mistake to appease these people in the hope that they will agree to live in our countries and abide by our laws...they have not lived by nor abided by the laws of any country that they have managed to inject a large number of their members into. IMO they only hope for islam and many millions of non moslums is to point out loud and clear any and all violent atrocities committed in the name of islam where ever they occur...and stop them by whatever means necessary without any negotiations...just stop them.
