Let see. For the value of short positions, the formula looks like this, hopefully it's correct:

= (Purchase Price + (Purchase Price - Today's Price))* (# of shares).

If you are short, the % change column will be positive if the stock declined from where you bought it, and negative if it went up from where you bought it.
