Good to hear.. Unfortunately I can tell many tales about Mexico (My Grandmother was a Mexican citizen..) where property was expropriated by force or intimidation.

What I know is they bought the property from a German national.. I believe it was around 1997. Rural area, some land but not a huge amount (a few hectares..) I'll try to find out more.
